Our Story

Cartecay River Brewing, a 10-barrel craft brewery in Ellijay, Georgia, was originally founded by Brooks Wade.

Brandon Lofton acquired the brewery in February 2025 with grand ambitions of evolving it into a full-service brewpub.

Leveraging his deep roots in the restaurant industry and inspired by the brewery's location, Lofton is bringing excellent food, top-quality craft beer, and cocktails to the Ellijay community.
